Rhys
Director
With over 8 years of experience in the disability sector, Director, Rhys Anderson has a vast range of experience supporting NDIS participants to achieve their goals.
Having completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science in 2019 at Deakin University, Rhys then went on to manage a team of Peer Mentors at another NDIS service provider before deciding to commence operations with Empower Possibility Supports (EPS) in 2022.
Outside of EPS, Rhys loves sports, in particular footy, cricket and basketball. He also loves hanging out with friends, collecting vinyls, board games, and exercise.
Rhys loves being able to work with a passionate team of dedicated Peer Mentors at EPS and he loves being able to see the gradual growth in participants in working towards their goals as well as building their overall capacity.
Amanda
Peer Mentor Team Leader
Amanda has a strong background in the disability field, having worked as a Peer Mentor, Support Coordinator, and Psychosocial Recovery Coach. She is a dedicated professional who has now completed her Diploma of Community Services.
Driven by a deep passion for supporting others – an inspiration rooted in her personal experiences with a family member with a disability- she is also committed to furthering her expertise through a Certificate IV in Mental Health.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys staying active through activities like gym workouts, horse riding, reading, and hiking.
Amanda is eager to make a positive impact in her community through her role as both a Peer Mentor and Senior staff member at EPS.
Nathan
Plan Empowerment Coach
Nathan is a passionate and dedicated industry professional with over four years of experience supporting participants to live more empowered, independent lives.
He holds a Certificate IV in Disability and has completed a beginner’s course in Auslan, continually building his capacity to connect and support others.
In his dual role as a Peer Mentor and Plan Empowerment Coach, Nathan offers both one-on-one support and guidance to participants to reflect on their goals, developing confidence, and making the most of their NDIS funding.
Outside of work, Nathan enjoys gaming, anime, manga, music, computers, and Beyblades. He is deeply committed to making a positive impact through care, connection, and empowerment.
Senior Peer Mentor
Ruby
Community & Partnerships Officer | Peer Mentor
Ruby is a passionate and dedicated Peer Mentor currently studying a Diploma in Counselling, with an expected completion in 2027. She holds a Certificate IV in Community Services, along with a dual Certificate IV in Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs, equipping her with a strong foundation to support individuals in a holistic and person-centred way.
Driven by a genuine desire to help and empower others, Ruby finds great fulfilment in supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable, heard, and motivated to work towards meaningful outcomes.
Outside of work, Ruby enjoys staying active and connected to nature through activities like reformer Pilates, horse riding, camping, beach outings, and walks. She also loves music and trying new hobbies, bringing a sense of curiosity and positivity into both her personal life and her work.
Connor
Peer Mentor
Ethan has completed a Certificate III in Community Services in 2021. Ethan has also volunteered in the industry prior to commencing at EPS.
In his spare time, Ethan enjoys video gaming, reading, anime, hanging out with friends and family, as well as watching TV shows/movies.
Ethan loves working in administration as he enjoys working to help everyone in the Peer Mentor Team and hopes for this to be a stepping stone towards more career opportunities in the future.
Abbey
Peer Mentor
Abbey is excited to bring a passion for community involvement and her love for art and fashion into her role as a Peer Mentor.With a personal background in disability, Abbey is committed to making a difference.
Her love for creativity, movies, concerts, and drawing enriches her interactions with participants. Abbey looks forward to offering support and serving as a role model as she helps participants pursue their goals.
Alivia
Peer Mentor
Alivia is 21 years old and has been a Peer Mentor with EPS since April 2023. Alivia is currently studying a Diploma of Mental Health.
Her interests include music, the environment, art, going to the gym, and sports in general, in particular basketball.
Anastacia
Peer Mentor
Anastacia is deeply passionate about music and loves playing guitar, singing, and songwriting. When she’s not working or making music, she enjoys fishing, reading, cooking, baking, and creating art, including painting, drawing, and jewellery-making. Her wide range of interests reflects her creativity and dedication to personal growth.
As a Peer Mentor, Anastacia is committed to supporting her participants in learning new skills, overcoming challenges, and having someone they can rely on. Her genuine care and enthusiasm make her a compassionate and valued member of the team.
Anthony
Peer Mentor
Anthony completed his studies in Counselling and Psychological Science in 2025 and has a strong passion for supporting people to reach their full potential.
After gaining experience during his placement at Nelson Park, he developed a genuine interest in working within the sector and aspires to become a school counsellor. Anthony is excited to build meaningful connections and support participants in achieving their goals.
Outside of work, Anthony is a big sports fan, following AFL (Collingwood), NBA, NFL, soccer, and golf. He also enjoys gaming on PlayStation, PC, and Nintendo, as well as travelling, socialising, live music, and a good Netflix binge.
Ava
Peer Mentor
Ava is currently studying a Bachelor of Primary Education, with plans to complete her degree by 2026. Outside of her role as a Peer Mentor, she enjoys reading, music, going on walks, and watching movies and TV shows. Ava has an exceptional memory for movie plots – she can recall details even years after watching them.
Passionate about supporting the disability community, Ava previously worked as an education support teacher at a primary school, where she discovered how rewarding the industry can be. She loves being a Peer Mentor, especially the one-on-one time with participants, as it allows her to build meaningful relationships and truly get to know them.
Brodie
Peer Mentor
Brodie is a dedicated Peer Mentor who is passionate about supporting diverse needs within the community. He enjoys connecting with participants through shared interests, including music, TV shows, movies, and sports – especially basketball, AFL, and NFL. His love for music goes beyond just listening; he is also proficient in playing both the guitar and drums. Additionally, he has a background in Chinese Mandarin. Brodie currently volunteers his time coaching junior football and supporting events at St Albans Football and Netball Club.
As a Peer Mentor, Brodie is committed to making a positive impact by helping participants build confidence, develop new skills, and navigate challenges. His diverse skills and enthusiasm make him a valued and supportive mentor.
Caleb
Peer Mentor
Caleb is currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support and previously completed a Certificate IV in Media in 2015. He brings over four years of experience to his role as a Peer Mentor.
In his spare time, Caleb enjoys playing and watching sports – especially footy, cricket, and soccer – as well as video editing, movies, and video gaming.
His passion for Peer Mentoring stems from his personal experience of having a sister, who has a disability. Witnessing the positive impact that her support had on her and the happiness it brought her inspired Caleb to pursue a career in the disability sector.
Connor
Peer Mentor
Connor is currently studying Cyber Security, specialising in Cloud Security. He combines strong tech skills with a friendly and approachable nature.
Connor is especially passionate about supporting teens and young adults as they grow, try new things, and build confidence. Outside of mentoring, he enjoys anime, gaming, music of all kinds, gym workouts, movies, and spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking or a day at the beach. He can also juggle.
For Connor, the best part of being a Peer Mentor is forming genuine connections and helping people enjoy life a little more each day.
Dan
Peer Mentor
Dan brings over four years of experience in the disability sector as a Peer Mentor, complemented by his recent completion of a Certificate IV in Education Support.
Currently serving as a Learning Support Officer at a primary school, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to his role. He is also pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), further deepening his understanding of human behaviour and support strategies.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Dan finds joy in basketball and expresses his creativity through photography. His dedication to mentoring stems from a genuine passion for witnessing personal growth and skill development among his participants.
Hayley
Peer Mentor
Hayley has a strong passion for helping others and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Family and Domestic Violence at RMIT, after completing her Bachelor of Criminology and Bachelor of Arts (Honours). She brings compassion, understanding, and a commitment to supporting participants to achieve their goals and be their best selves.
Outside of work, Hayley enjoys yoga and pilates, reading thrillers and classics, spending time at the beach, and travelling. She’s also a big music lover and proud dog mum to her two German shepherds, Koa and Kobe.
Hayley loves being a Peer Mentor because it gives her the opportunity to empower participants; whether that’s achieving big goals or simply taking time to relax and recharge together.
Jake C
Peer Mentor
Jake has a passion for supporting others and loves helping people grow and thrive. He is interested in studying in the future and is still exploring which pathway to pursue, with a long-term goal of becoming a firefighter. He is excited to continue developing his skills and knowledge while working as a Peer Mentor.
In his spare time, Jake enjoys gaming, cooking from scratch, going to the gym, football, tennis, podcasts, Dungeons & Dragons, and attending events in Melbourne. He also enjoys puzzles and escape rooms, where his critical thinking skills shine.
Jake loves being a Peer Mentor because it allows him to connect with people from all walks of life, build relationships, and show others the respect they deserve.
Jake H

Jonah
Peer Mentor
Jonah is currently studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education at Federation University, with the goal of becoming a high school teacher. He also holds a Diploma of Graphic Design and a Certificate III in Educational Support, bringing a strong mix of creativity and practical experience to his role.
Outside of this, Jonah enjoys rock and metal music, gaming on Xbox, horror movies, drawing, caring for his succulent collection and working on his guitar skills. He’s also a big fan of cars and enjoys attending car shows. Jonah has a creative side, with a love for art and design, and is a self-proclaimed geek when it comes to Pokémon and LEGO.
Jonah loves being a Peer Mentor because it gives him the opportunity to meet new people, build connections, and support participants in a way that makes a positive difference in their day-to-day lives.
Kaylee
Peer Mentor
Kaylee is currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, with plans to graduate in 2028. She is passionate about supporting participants in building independence, confidence, and capacity, and loves that her role as a Peer Mentor aligns closely with her studies. Kaylee looks forward to making a positive difference in participants’ lives and empowering them to reach their goals.
Outside of work, Kaylee enjoys staying active through netball, running, and hiking, as well as gardening, baking, reading, and spending time at the beach. She also loves animals (especially dog walking), exploring new coffee spots, and like most of us, a good Kmart trip.
Fun fact: Kaylee is incredibly quick at jigsaw puzzles and was a ballerina for 12 years, showing her dedication, patience, and attention to detail.
Lexi
Peer Mentor
Lexi is passionate about giving back to the community in a meaningful way. She is excited to build genuine connections with participants and be a positive role model, supporting them to work towards their goals and grow in confidence.
Lexi brings creativity and fun to her role, with interests including video gaming, board games, anime, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon, manga, and all things Harry Potter and Greek mythology. She also loves arts and crafts and is a big animal lover.
Her creative skills include crochet, miniature figurine painting, hair styling, and makeup artistry – adding an extra layer of creativity and self-expression to the connections she builds. Lexi looks forward to empowering participants through shared interests, imagination, and meaningful support.
Rhianna
Peer Mentor
Rhianna brings diverse experience to EPS, with prior roles in education and qualifications in dance, hairdressing, and law. Currently pursuing studies in disability and primary education, she is passionate about Peer Mentoring and making a positive impact. Beyond work, Rhianna enjoys sports, music (playing up to 10 instruments), dancing, cooking, and travel.
She finds fulfilment in helping others with her passion for the sector stemming from growing up with a brother with a disability and as a result is really excited about making a positive impact with her participants.
Ryan
Peer Mentor
Ryan brings a strong mix of skills to EPS. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design and a Certificate IV in Disability, supported by two and a half years of hands-on experience.
He enjoys basketball, footy, surfing, gaming, and 4-wheel driving, and has recently started getting into fishing. He also plays guitar. His passion for Peer Mentoring drives him, and he finds real fulfilment in helping participants grow with confidence.
Samantha

Peer Mentor
With over 4 years of Peer Mentoring experience, Sam is a compassionate and knowledgeable asset to the team.
He has recently commenced a Certificate III in Disability, further deepening his commitment to the sector. Beyond his role, he enjoys golf, AFL, fishing, movies, and is a big fan of the TV show Brooklyn 99. He values spending time with friends, promoting mental health awareness, and engaging in board games.
Sam’s dedication to the sector is deeply rooted in his upbringing, with family members also working in disability services. He finds joy in making a positive impact on others’ lives and eagerly anticipates the growth and progress of his participants.
Tom
Peer Mentor
Tom holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Certificate III in Allied Health, he is also commencing his Master of Physiotherapy in 2027. With previous experience in a Senior Peer Mentor role at EPS, Tom brings strong leadership and a deep understanding of what makes a great Peer Mentor.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys all things sport – particularly AFL, basketball, and cricket, as well as video gaming, food, and science. He plays footy for St Albans FNC, where he is part of the senior leadership team and also coaches the Under-14s.
Tom loves being a Peer Mentor because it allows him to build meaningful relationships, support independence, and connect with people from all walks of life through shared interests and experience.
